Dr. Azza El-Shinnawy brings over 25 years of experience leading digital transformation across Africa and the Middle East. As former Head of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Egypt and North Africa, she drove national-scale innovation and growth. She previously held regional leadership roles at Microsoft and served as an advisor to Egypt’s Ministry of Investment, the World Health Organization, and global institutions such as the World Bank and the UN. Azza holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, an MA from the University of East Anglia, and an MA in Public Administration from the American University in Cairo, and serves on the Board of Trustees of Nile University.
